Multi-elemental Analysis by ICP-MS

icpms.jpg (14041 bytes)

Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) is a powerful technology for detecting multi-elements in a wide variety of sample types including environmental, biological and geological samples at trace concentration levels. ICP-MS has become one of the most attractive detection systems for trace element analysis because it has:

ICP-MS provides both increased efficiency for routine analysis and the flexibility needed for research and development of specialty applications.

Analytical Chemistry can offer you:
  • an analytical capability that extends to most elements in the Periodic Table, provides exceptionally low detection limits and also gives isotope information.

  •
  • the provision to correct or reduce spectral and non-spectral interferences and thereby produce more accurate data.

  •
  • trace metal contamination-reduced analytical protocols through use of a clean room environment for sample and standard preparation, high purity acids, trace-metal free containers, sample tubes, pipettes, etc.

  •
  • consistently applied quality control protocols.

  •
  • assistance with sampling and analysis planning to improve your project efficiency.
